On this two-day course, you will work through the process of making a willow lampshade. You will be encouraged to design your lampshade to fit into your home . We will be scalloming the uprights onto a lampshade frame and using a variety of weaves to create pattern and structure.

With a relaxed atmosphere and creative companionship, you will get tuition to suit your skills allowing you to produce a beautiful lampshade for your home.

This is a course suitable for beginners but also for those wanting to develop existing skills.

Biscuits and drinks will be provided throughout the course.

  • This is a course is not suitable for beginners but for learners with some experience of willow basket making.

  • Please bring sharp secateurs if you have them and wear old clothes.

    Bring a packed lunch and we will provide drinks and cakes throughout the day.

  • Minimum of 4 students per course, should there be insufficient numbers the course will be cancelled 3 weeks in advance & students notified via email.
