During this two-day course, you will progress through the process of making a square based Garden Trug. The uprights will be joined as scalloms which requires the use of knife skills. You will learn end posts, packing and square corner borders.

With a relaxed atmosphere and creative companionship, you will get tuition to suit your skills allowing you to produce a beautiful basket with many practical uses in your garden or home.

This is a course suitable for those with some basket making experince, wanting to develop existing skills.

Cakes and drinks will be provided throughout the weekend.

  • This is a course suitable for learners with some experience of basketmaking.

  • Please bring sharp secateurs if you have them and wear old clothes.

    Bring a packed lunch and we will provide drinks and cakes throughout the day.

  • Minimum of 4 students per course, should there be insufficient numbers the course will be cancelled 3 weeks in advance & students notified via email.
